Thank you for inquiring about our Gemach. Below is a list of frequently asked questions that we hope will address any questions you may have:

  • Where/how do I pick-up items?
    At our garage in Teaneck. Details will be in the pick-up instructions.
  • Can I send my handyman, caterer, waiter, busboy, housekeeper's husband or worker to pick up?
    No. Please pick up yourself or send a friend.
  • How far in advance can I pick items up/when do I need to return?
    Generally 48 hours in advance, but let us know if you need to pick them up earlier and we will see if the requested items are available. Returns are also requested to be made within 48 hours after the event.
  • Is there a fee for borrowing?
    There is no required fee, but the gemach does raise money to pay for repairs and replacement equipment as well as to support local yeshiva scholarship funds. Please consider making a contribution. There is a secure mailbox in the garage. Alternatively, you can mail to Teaneck Simcha Corp., 387 Maitland Ave, Teaneck, NJ 07666. We are a 501(c)(3) corporation and contributions to the Gemach are tax deductible. We are also registered with Fidelity Charity and Jewish Communal Fund. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL DONATIONS.   • Will the tables fit into a mini-van?
    Yes.
